MyRedBook.com Seized by the Feds

MyRedbook.com was shut down by federal authorities yesterday.

Eric "Red" Omuro, and Annmarie "Maddie" Lanoce, were arrested during a FBI raid at a home in Mountain View. Both are charged with one count of interstate travel in the aid of a racketeering enterprise, and Red is charged with an additional twenty-four counts of money laundering. They were arraigned in federal court in San Francisco yesterday afternoon.

Maddie entered a plea of not guilty and was ordered released on a $250,000 unsecured bond. Her next scheduled court appearance is July 10 before U. S. District Judge William H. Orrick in San Francisco.

Red also made his initial appearance Wednesday before the magistrate judge in San Francisco. Entry of his plea was put over to Friday. He was ordered released on a $500,000 unsecured bond. He also is scheduled to be at the status conference July 10 before Orrick.

Federal prosecutors say the pair used the mail and the Internet to facilitate prostitution. According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, Red ran two websites, sfredbook.com and myredbook.com, with Maddie's assistance. Both domains were seized by the FBI.
The indictment alleges that Red engaged in more than 20 money transactions to launder profits from facilitating prostitution. The indictment seeks the forfeiture of more than $5 million in property and money.

In a statement posted on MyRedbook's homepage, the FBI said the domain was subject to civil and criminal forfeiture. "This seizure is based on probable cause to believe that this domain name was involved in money laundering derived from racketeering based on prostitution in violation of state and federal law," the statement says.

The federal raid stems from a national crackdown on child sex trafficking this month. Authorities claim that 168 children have been rescued and 281 alleged pimps arrested. Although they say this is all done in order to make people safer, what they have really done is make things far more dangerous for everyone. Redbook got these women off the street corners, provided an excellent screening process for both the providers and the "Johns", and even provided law enforcement with a source to find the "so called" under-aged girls that they claim to be doing this all for.

This is what I think... Red made the mistake of not "greasing the right pockets". In other words, the IRS (who run the most powerful "protection racket" there is) felt like they weren't getting "their piece of the pie".

This fascist government we live in claims that they keep prostitution illegal to protect children from becoming victims of sex trafficking. But the truth of the matter is, our government is the biggest procurer of child prostitution and sex trafficking there is in our country. Seems unbelievable I know. But it's true. Just ask Noreen Gosch, or Senator John Decamp. Watch the documentary "Conspiracy of Silence", or google "Dyncorp and Halliburton sex trade". You'll start to get a picture of just how far the rabbit hole goes.
